It was created to adorn the city of Strasbourg, but in 1932, it was moved to Munich. There are upper Street Hochstrasse, lower Street Gebsattelstrasse, Overpass and pedestrian stairs linking these two streets.

Right away after the bridge, stands an obelisk "Angel of Peace”, it is Friedensengel. 38 meters of tower is set on a square pedestal, and is decorated with the mosaics and allegorical sculptures. The column is crowned by a golden figure of an angel, a replica of the goddess Nike of Paionios.

There is plenty of monuments, buildings, squares and parks of the different ages. They are of various shapes, sizes and colors. Being in Munich, is like to find yourself on another planet.
