Nowadays, it is celebrated with a wide range; there are many lines of beer tents, costume parade, various food, laughter, music and dances.

It recalls a demonstration: all are singing and shouting greetings, and throwing into the crowd confetti, candies, handing out cups of beer and wine. It ends with a march at one of the big areas of the city and a concert.

• Three Wise Men at the 6th of January. Three Saint Kings of Germany were honored as the patrons of travelers, so many German hotels are named in their honor;

• Easter;

• Labor Day at the 1st of May;

• Ascension Day at May or June;

• Corpus Christi, only in the lands of the Catholic population, at June;

• Love Parade at the 14th of July;

• Assumption (Bayern land and Saarland) at 15th of August;

• Knowledge Day at 1st of September;

• Day of German Unification at 3rd of October;

• All Saints Day, in the lands of the Catholic population, at the 1st of November.
